Structured School Programs Tailored To Encourage Child Development
At A Lil One’s Learning Center, our number one priority is our students' success. We are dedicated to providing students a secure, caring, and inclusive emotional base with a solid learning foundation during their time with us. Our early childhood education program starts with Toddlers and continues through Pre-K or Head Start to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. We utilize the research-based FROG Street Curriculum to emphasize meaningful interactions, critical thinking and creative activities design to encourage developmental growth. A Lil One’s Programs
Infants
8 weeks – 12 months
A Lil One’s Infant program offers a secure, nurturing and caring atmosphere for our smallest learners. We concentrate on meeting the specific needs of each and help them develop meaningful and secure relationships, while also meeting development milestones. We encourage our students by helping them explore music, literature and more to help them grown
Toddlers
12 months – 36 months
Our toddler program is created to nurture and introduce students to a more structured advancing learning style based on each child’s development growth level. Through the use of more hands-on activities, we focus on building language skills, social or emotional abilities and physical growth. Additionally, we also teach colors, letters, numbers and more to develop cognitive skills.
Pre-K
3 years – 5 years
Pre-K students ages 3-5 are introduced to a more advanced level FROG Street Curriculum, where we start to incorporate more concept development, language modeling, reading/writing comprehension, gross motor skills and creative activities. Our goal is to ensure that students are well-prepared for elementary school while still allowing them to enjoy the self-paced learning process.
Before & After School Program
Our before and after school programs are designed for students who need additional educational assistance such as homework, tutoring, or engaging in more fun-creative activities. These programs reassure parents that their students are safe, but the students themselves can discover who they are and develop more meaningful friendships fully.
Summer Camp Program
A Lil One’s Learning Center offers students a fun and educational summer camp with lots of enriching activities like sports, field trips, workshops and more. We also integrate academic courses like science, social studies, physical development, etc to ensure that the students are well-prepared for the upcoming school year while having lots of fun.
Extra-Curricular Activities
We work with East Baton Rouge Parish Library to provide students with educational books for them to read and learn more.
Additionaly, we partner with Soccer Shots NOLA to provide your child with fun, engaging activities to get them active and teach them the importance of teamwork during the day.
